Below is a brief introduction of Dr. Memon.

Dr. Mudasar Latif Memon is a scientist having ~15 years of diverse industry and academic experience that includes teaching, research, administration, project management, and leadership. He is the founder of a US-based company SAINCUBE: Smart Artificial Intelligence Networks Center for Ubiquitous Engineering and serving as CEO of Lyceumerce Private Limited company, an e-commerce and AI service provider company. Previously, he remained a part of the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (IBA) University family for around 09 years and was responsible for Emerging Technologies Program Initiatives (in collaboration with industry partners) at IBA Community Colleges and Schools managed by Sukkur IBA University. Besides, he also served as Head of Technical Programs at IBA Community College Naushahro Feroze. Before this, Dr. Memon served the telecommunication sector at Etisalat Group (a Pakistan telecommunications company limited) for more than 05 years.

Dr. Memon has completed the “Postdocs Ventures: From Science to Business” training program offered by Postdoc to Innovator (P2i) in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, UK in 2020. The purpose of this program was to enable post-doctorate researchers to solve real-world research problems in entrepreneurial ways.

He received his doctorate in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea (One of the top 100 QS/THE ranked universities in the world). He received 1st prize in the Superior Research Award from the College of Information and Communication Engineering, SKKU, based on his quality research publications during his Ph.D. He was fortunate enough to be supervised by the 21st President of SKKU (Prof. Dong Ryeol Shin) and co-supervised by Prof. N. Saxena from San Jose State University, USA. 

Dr. M L Memon’s research work is on the convergence of emerging technologies including the Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 5G Wireless Networks to solve real-life problems, particularly in Wireless Networks (5G & beyond) and the healthcare sector. Dr. M L Memon has more than 14 International publications in reputed SCI, ESCI, and Scopus Indexed journals. His international research collaborations are with professionals from the top-notch industries of the world including MediaTek Inc. USA and Samsung, South Korea.

Dr. Memon volunteers to contribute towards the betterment of society by providing his professional services as an External examiner for Graduate Initial and Final Proposal Defense, by serving as a Member Technical Program Committee to review the research papers in IEEE Conferences and impact factor Journals including Springer, IEEE, Wiley etc. He has been providing mentorship to various students independently as well as international programs including global talent mentoring. He is also an active part of many alumni associations including the Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN), The Petarian Association (TPA), and Mehran University Alumni Association (MUAA).
